"Arches National Park is 10 minutes away. Our room was a "luxury 2 queen with balcony." We enjoyed sitting on the balcony. Many good restaurants nearby, including next door. Bed comfortable, room darkening curtains. We slept well. Free parking."

"Lake Powell Resort was a beautiful place to stay and made for a great weekend getaway. The scenery around the resort is stunning, and the location is excellent, close to Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, the national park, and several scenic viewpoints. I appreciated having on-site dining options, and the food itself was good. My only concerns were that breakfast felt a bit overpriced especially for kids, and the restaurant open during the off-season seemed very short-staffed, which made the wait for food quite long. We also had a bathtub drainage issue during our stay. It drained very slowly the second night and not at all by the third night. Since we were leaving the next morning, it was not a major issue, but it was still inconvenient. Overall, it was a very nice stay in a beautiful setting, and I would still recommend it."

"I'm not sure why this has a poor rating other then the ratings are older during a low period. Nice hotel, though I will admit the lobby seems a bit run down and has a particular smell. The room was updated and very nice. Be prepared on watching any shows cutting in and out, the reception for the tv was awful. Staff were nice and courteous. Only a drink station - coffee,tea, hot chocolate and a water station. No breakfast or food on site but restaurants started only a block away."

"The walls were so thin, we could hear the people above us stomping around at 6am and then housekeeping was laughing and hollering at each other out in the hallway like all morning right outside our door. "
