Stayed in a double bed room with a balcony overlooking the fire place. It was lovely. Room service from the cafe was a wonderful surprise. The pizza and wings are good there. Really happy about the clean restroom and spacious shower. Will happily return.

Unfortunately we were here for just one night. That’s the bad part. The good part, everything else. The staff, the family dwelling (7 adults), the gift shop and the cafe were all excellent. The private fire pit and patio were also great. We loved watching the stars and eating breakfast here. We did not get to enjoy all the amenities this place offers. If you are within 100 miles of Bluff, I would highly recommend you stay here.

Our oet-friendly ground floor unit was perfect for us and our pup. This place is a true gem. We ended up not wanting to leave, so added a 3rd night because it was such a peaceful and relaxing stay. The cafe is excellent too! We came to the area for Monument Valley, but found many other things to do as well: Valley of the Gods (loved this way more than MV, tbh!), Mexican Hat, Gooseneck SP, restaurants in Bluff and Blanding. Best part was how well we all slept. The amenities were numerous, staff was great, beds were so comfortable. We stayed for spring break in late March during off-season but during the unseasonably warm weather. Pool was open and well-used. :)

Overall this is a nice place but could be amazing if more effort was put in by the management. We loved having an individual unit, the view, the fireplace, and the hiking trail behind the property. However some downsides. Not sure if it was just the changing of the seasons, but the staff didn't seem interested in hospitality. Also the pool was freezing and dirty. At least the outside temp one day was warm enough for guests to use it as a cold plunge! Our room wasn't the cleanest, the shower leaked and a the sofa bed was very uncomfortable. This hotel came highly recommended by friends but the same friends did say it's been going downhill year after year. It is worth the money for sure, still a good value, just not sure if I'd call the unit we had "luxury' or the property a 'resort'. We would definitely go back but with just lowered expectations.

Spent the weekend Feb 27 & 28 2026 here and it was an absolute joy. There are many outdoor areas to relax at after a long day of hiking to ruins and petroglyphs. The hot tub and pool were wonderful to relax in and the front desk provided a robe which was super nice. My single king room was spacious and super clean with a wonderful balcony to relax on in the morning with coffee and enjoy the cool fresh air and the mattress was very comfortable. The staff was helpful in suggesting areas to visit. There are lots of places to hike and Monument Valley is about 45 mins away. I plan on making this a biyearly stay to see more of the area and have already recommended it to friends and family.

This was a last-minute booking, as I needed a place to stay in the area with my dog. A $100 non-refundable pet fee for a single night felt excessive, especially in a region where lodging is limited and pet-friendly options are even more scarce. I would have much preferred to spend that money in the gift shop or restaurant — to support the business in a more positive way. The check-in process required multiple trips to the front desk, and I also had to make additional trips just to get ice, which was inconvenient. The upstairs room itself was lovely. However, I was able to hear the downstairs guests throughout the night, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. I work in the hospitality industry and hesitated to write a review like this, but I believe honest feedback is important. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend this location for a single-night stay or a family adventure
