"Really cool location directly in Chinatown. The rooms were good, nothing crazy but they were clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. The only downside is that there is no parking. You either have to pay to park on the street, or find a public parking garage that is far away from the hotel. "

"It was very cold in the room. The air conditioning definitely works! The water in the shower was very warm and nice. The bed could use a thicker comforter or at least an extra blanket. Overall, I don’t know what I expected given the price."

"The staff members were all very accommodating and friendly. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The area had lots of restaurants within walking distance and it was an easy drive to the hospital where my son was admitted. "

"Fantastic location near our daughter, who lives in Hyde Park. Warm, welcoming staff who accommodated an early check in for very weary travelers. Room was nice, bed comfy. Only reason for 4 stars was that the restaurant affiliated with the hotel was closed on Sunday evenings. We had a nice meal in the bar by the fireplace but the table was bar-size and didn’t have enough room for our dinner plates and appetizers. Would definitely return to the sophy for all the other pluses it offers. "
