"Pros: We had a great room on the ground floor with chairs outside to lounge on. Conveniently located hotel and fun atmosphere. Cons: Not really a family vibe, although we had kids and it was fine. Music was loud until late and the walls were thin so we woke up from the kid in the next room in the middle of the night. Seems more geared to "

"Jacques and the sweet front desk associate who addresses guests as “love” and with affection are exceptional. We may not return to Miami, but this stay was magical. Also the rooms have Illy coffee espresso !!"

"Pros - It was extremely close to Ocean drive and to everything worth going to in South Beach - The pool on the roof was cozy - The walk in shower Cons - Resort Fee's , there separate from what you pay and only get a small portion of it back - Waited hours before getting to my room which was annoying and other in the waiting area were packed waiting annoyed as well - The beds were extremely horrible like sleeping on my grandfather bed 30 years ago and having springs sticking through and into my back we did not sleep well, also we could not fit our child on the bed and had to request a fold out bed which was more comfortable than the bed provided - The service of the workers wasn't the best and were kind of snarky and rude for all that was paid Closing notes - For the money this place aint it in my opinion from my family and I's experience, if your needing to be on or close to Ocean in south beach, look elsewhere for the money , 1 thing that annoyed me was a resort fee, the other place I stayed a week prior in south beach didnt charge that nonsense but they did, last time I seen that as being in Vegas, that being said for my experience they should have paid me for it but I will never go back there , as they say, live and learn"

"Pros - 2 Large beds that were comfy and spacious - deck and pool area are small but comfy - near by to general stores - AC was nice and cold :) - Rooms were nice and clean - I left my airpods and they held onto them until I was back form my cruise, they have my respect Cons - my shower was flooding the bathroom and had to lay down towels - Getting replacement towels was a hassle and after certain periods good luck trying to get help of any kind - bathroom lock got locked and we were able to gain entry back in , called for maintenance to resolve but never showed and self resolved the matter ourselves Closing notes Its close to the beach walking and accessible to Ocean drive, after we got back from our trip we stayed at the Tony off 8th and I'll tell yeah this, we wish we stayed again here becuase I paid a lot at the Tony and the beds were horrible and the service was horrible so by comparison the Meridian was good compared , that also being said if you are going to want being closer to Ocean don't go to the Tony. thats my warning becuase if you want sleep you better off sleeping on the floor it was more conformable"
