「We booked The Relais Cooden beach via Expedia particularly for its location and spa facilities. We had booked the "Cosy double room" because that was all that was left. On arrival we tried to book spa treatments but there were no available bookings during our three night stay. This was disappointing as there was no mention on the Expedia website that you needed to book in advance. Apparently, guests who booked directly with the hotel enjoyed free use of the spa whereas booking through Expedia...

「Hotel overall was good. We were upgraded to sea view room which was nice. Rooms were clean and modern. Had everything you needed for your stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice and dining area was pleasant. The spa was disappointing. Really needs some TLC. Very dated, could do with some attention. Changing rooms were not very clean. Unfortunately there were children having swimming lessons so not a nice relaxing experience 😞and difficult to have a proper swim. So that did...
