"This is possibly the best located hotel in Venice and definitely has the kindest staff! The breakfast was excellent as well. It is stressful from the Eialto Mecato stop on vaporetto line 1, so if you have luggage and dont want the hassle of dragging it far, this is for you. They also stored our luggage to help us out and we're so friendly. Staffed 24 hours, the front desk is always ready to help and even arranged for us to have breakfast early on our departure day. The hotel is spotless and classically Venetian. And it is a great value. No need to look further, you will not be disappointed with your stay here. I will return whenever I am in Venice."

"Contacted the hotel 4 wks & then again 2 wks in advance about our reservation - they never got back to us. Arrived & they were going to rent us the room, despite it being nearly midnight (but before their deadline to checkin). We paid an additional $125 & they rented it to us. Got bite 10 times by a Mediterranean recluse spider (venomous). Would never stay here again, at $500/a night it was terrible."
