"This hotel is in an excellent location. The surrounding area is a little noisy, because you are so close to San Marco, which is a very busy area. However, you are also at an optimal location to get to and from Rialto, San Marco, Castello, and Canneregio neighborhoods very quickly. If you are arriving via San Marco vaporetto stop, you only have to cross one bridge with luggage, which is a huge help. The staff I interacted with were all very kind, professional and helpful. The breakfast is lovely and perfectly filling. I would highly recommend returning."

"Contacted the hotel 4 wks & then again 2 wks in advance about our reservation - they never got back to us. Arrived & they were going to rent us the room, despite it being nearly midnight (but before their deadline to checkin). We paid an additional $125 & they rented it to us. Got bite 10 times by a Mediterranean recluse spider (venomous). Would never stay here again, at $500/a night it was terrible."
