Richard is a right bloke, would loved to have stayed up talking to him at the bar but after walking the local fells went to relax in the brilliant room. 「This was our 3rd stay at St John's Lodge and yet again it did not disappoint. Great location, great room (which was upgraded when we arrived, a welcome surprise), great breakfast and amazing service from the Hosts Rich & Ada. Having free access to the Local health club and spa is another fantastic bonus, popping in after a hike to utilise the jacuzzi is great! We couldn't ask for more from St John's Lodge, Rich and Ada are excellent hosts and couldn't do more for us. We hope to return again...

「Lovely place, rooms was very clean, really nicely decorated and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. With a fully loaded mini bar which had everything you needed for a lovely stay. 」

「It's a cozy place to escape from the big city. While we walk into the hotel, we received warm welcome right away. The people at front desk are very friendly and nice. Their breakfast are great. First night I found my bed mattress got problem, after I told them, they changed it right away. Not far away from Station (about 10 minutes walk), but it's located at a quite nice area. We are really enjoy staying there.」

「Very clean room and breakfast lovely, hot, high quality bacon,sausage etc . Pets welcome in the bar area only Mattress too firm for our choice but this personal to each person . Nice touch of bottled water , various selection of small soaps, shampoo etc and choc biscuits in room . Very busy Friday night for eating so understandably bit of a wait find our table and take orders . Great food and beers ! 」
