「I was impressed with the lady who ran the hotel that night. She checked me in, instructed me where to park my car, advised where to get dinner because they didn't provide evening meals, served my drink in the bar, laid my table for my brought in take away dinner and then cleared up and still managed to do some cleaning. She made my evening very easy and pleasant. I couldn't ask for more. 」

「Amazing peaceful rural location. We had a lovely two bedroom room, beautifully equipped with lots of lovely finishing touches, like actual milk in a fridge for tea and coffee. Not something I am very used to staying in lots of hotels for work. The farmhouse is as picturesque as it looks in the photos. Local recommendations for activities and food. My only minor criticism is being 6’3 the light they’d fitted to the single room was basically at face height so I cracked my head a couple of times getting in and out of bed. 「Bright friendly welcome with tea and biscuits. The gardens are extensive and lots to interest. The house feels like a medieval manor although is C19 Tudor revival. The bedroom had everything needed and mercifully no television, was clean and welcoming. Al in all a lovely stay with a lovely host.」
