「Great location on the far side of Thingvellir National Park close to the new Laugarás Lagoon. Freya Farm is truly a family owned farm by a wonderful young family. They were so kind and the property is absolutely stunning. The owner took us for a short hike around their backyard to an amazing river. This is truly a hidden jem.」

After many generic (AI generated) mails back and forth someone was sent over on the 2nd day and later they admitted, a part would need to be replaced as the pool could not maintain the temperature. Very disappointing and frustrating, as we booked the accommodation because of the whirlpool. We also had the feeling that the issue was known beforehand, which makes it false advertising.」

「This place is magical! The lodge has everything you could need. The hot tub and sauna are amazing! The heated floors throughout felt amazing! Loved all the little touches. It was super clean and the beds were very comfortable! The shower was super hot. The space is well done. The best part is the views! Sleeping under the stars and seeing some northern nights was a dream!!! Waking up to a gorgeous sunrise was another wonderful bonus. Just looking at the views of the snow covered mountains...

「The property was worn on the outlook, seems being deserted for a long time. There was no hot water in the room and there was no heater in the communal washroom and communal shower! There was no shampoo and shower gel provided in the shower. There was no hairdryer in the room, not to mention any lotions or cups for brushing teeth!!
