Super tolle Unterkunft, wir haben uns von Anfang an wirklich richtig wohlgefühlt, ein toller Wohlfühlort, sehr besonders. Wir hätten gerne noch länger dort verbracht. Die Ausstattung ist sehr hochwertig und geschmackvoll gestaltet. Es war wirklich für jeden etwas dabei: Geschirrspüler, Backofen, Mikrowelle, da fehlt es an nichts. Dass keine Grundausstattung wie Öl oder Salz vorhanden war, hat uns nicht gestört, das hatten wir auch nicht erwartet. Wir hoffen, dass die Unterkunft auch weiterhin so gut in Schuss gehalten wird von den Gästen und kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Great property in terms of space, cleanliness, location. Is equipped with necessities. We were lucky to see the northern lights as we arrived!! Although google maps takes you to the next turn, if you arrive when it's dark and can't read the Green Geysir board outside. What we didn't like was that the room temp was set and we could not change it.

Property is new and nicely maintained. Beds were comfortable, including the pull out. We were disappointed the windows in main room with the pullout bed had minimal, or no, window coverage and what they had was sheer. This was surprising, especially with Iceland’s short summer nights and offered little privacy. There were sleep masks, but no pillows for the pullout, only two duvets. The bathroom was clean, but there was nowhere to put your stuff while in the shower.

nice peaceful area, rooms are a little small, but serve the purpose. hot tub is great, but it was very cold outside. so, not fun walking back to the room in cold wind. overall, nice place.

We had a perfect short stay, and would have loved to stay longer if our itinerary allowed. Everything was perfect and clean, as if we were the first visitors. We are a family of 6 with 4 children, and were hesitant if the kids would feel comfortable next door to us. It worked out perfectly. Clean and cozy! Bonus: We were able to see the Northern Lights even though it was a cloudy night.

Beautiful location near the geyser and waterfalls around. Lovely cottage with amazing views and very private. Great for families as the main bed is in its own room and the sleeper sofa in the living room. Perfect for our family of four traveling with two kids. We had a small hiccup getting the access code information but once we contacted the owner directly, they were very helpful and resent the information. Seems like it’s an orbitz issue as we had the same issue at another location booked through orbitz. Both owners confirmed they had sent the email confirmation prior to arrival. All in all, highly recommend this place. We would have stayed longer if we could have. We were able to enjoy the hot tub (although it was a bit complicated to unlock and definitely need two people to assist- having directions posted would be helpful) and were able to do our laundry while here. It’s definitely a one of a kind experience that is a must while in Iceland.

Purtroppo la zona giorno con divano non era oscurata. Vasca idromassaggio sigillata e quando ho sbirciato ho visto che era sporca. Struttura stupenda nuova, sarebbe bastato un minimo di gestione, visto i costi era il minimo. Non abbiamo più avuto acqua calda, e nessuno ci ha risposto tutta la notte. Alla partenza ci è stato fatto fare il giro di tutte le ville che erano vuote per provare se nelle altre c’era acqua calda…siamo ripartiti senza fare la doccia. Il cliente si assume ogni incidente, la struttura prende i soldi e non va incontro al cliente con rimborsi.

This place is BRAND NEW! GREAT way to spend a night. It's like the world's best modular container home. We arrived late (10pm) and were able to get into our "home" using the code on the door. Very straight forward. What I did not appreciate was the laundry list of what we had to do: make our own bed at 10 pm, next day put away the bed (it's a couch) and take trash out, start dishwasher, etc etc etc. I am on vacation, I can do chores back home. So when this review asks if the staff was helpful, I feel like I was the staff. We really wanted to get into the hot tub, but it was far and there were no robes or extra towels to go there. Also, my husband reported back we would need another strong "guest" to help lift the cover. After reading our "to do list" we opted against opening and closing and cleaning the hot tub. Basically, great place but for the love of god treat your guests like paying guests we are, not extra hands to maintain the property. Also, it would be great if you left some small things that improve hospitality: a tea bag or two, a milk container for the coffee, etc. There is NO stores anywhere near and I bartered with our next door neighbors: biscuits for tea.
