"the room and staff were great. breakfast buffet was very good, although the choices were identical for 7 mornings in a row. dinners at the restaurant were really good, although they stop taking orders at 9p, which did not work out with our schedule on two of the nights (I wish would stay open later, even if only had a limited menu). the bar charges are exorbitant -- scotch whiskey was 3300 ISK per serving, so a double whiskey (minimum sized pour) is 6600 ISK or $54.42 USD !! (even our Icelandic guest was shocked). overall, we had a great time there and would definitely return."

"This property is new and clean. Easy to locate. However, Expedia did not send me the code to open the self check-in door. So, I need to call property manager directly. Since I am using Iceland travel SIM card, this is really inconvenience for me."

"Cabin was quiet clean quaint and felt like our 2nd home. Staff were wonderful and helpful. The bedrooms were smaller than we were used to be fine and comfortable. Restaurant is not open in the mornings so bring your coffee and food. There is a restaurant a few minutes up the road. I would stay again"

"We had a wonderful stay and got lucky being able to see the auroras at night! The space is indeed tiny but well thought out and we found it was enough space to be cozy and comfortable. Instructions on how to get to the lodge and how to take advantage of all the amenities were super clear. We were also very grateful for the laundry facilities. We enjoyed the sauna and views. Compared to other glass lodges around, this one is well priced for having a private sauna, hot tub and other amenities."

"Loved staying here. There are animals onsite. You can even eat dinner with a view of the cows. The onsite restaurant was good. Wouldn’t recommend paying for breakfast though."
