honestly felt a bit bamboozled by the booking. The photos online clearly showed a sauna overlooking a hot spring, which was a big reason I chose this hotel. When I arrived, that feature simply did not exist at the property. It felt like false advertising, and that was pretty disappointing. The only relaxation amenity available was a hot tub with no jets. It’s basically just warm water. For a hotel promoting relaxation, that was a bit of a letdown. Like… come on. The room itself was alright—nothing spectacular, but it was clean and comfortable enough for a stay. The staff were very quiet, but they were polite and respectful. The breakfast selection was decent, but if you’re staying multiple days it gets repetitive pretty quickly. It would be nice if they rotated the options a bit, because eating the exact same breakfast every morning for several days isn’t great. Overall the stay was okay, but the misleading photos online really set the wrong expectation, which ended up being the most disappointing part of the experience.

Very nice staff, clean and comfortable rooms and the hot tubs with a night sky filled with a show from the northern lights was a huge plus. Breakfast was also very good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling the golden circle.

Blue hotel Fagrilundur feels very close to nature and incredibly peaceful. The self check-in process was smooth, and I didn’t really interact with any staff during my stay, but everything was well prepared and very comfortable. The surroundings are beautiful and truly feel immersed in nature. The hot tub was a big plus, especially after a long day, and I slept extremely well here. I would definitely love to come back and stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay. The room was clean and spacious. While we didn’t interact with many staff members as we utilized the self-check in, everyone we did encounter was kind and gracious. The best part of the stay was the breakfast- good variety and delicious!

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed some time in the hot tubs as well. Can't comment too much on the staff since you really don't see them, but overall would recommend a stay here.

We loved everything about this hotel. Very clean, large rooms, very quiet and all the amenities you would need. The hot tubs were a great bonus. And the breakfast was the best!

Good hotel. Nice helpful staff. It’s sort of central to sites within Golden Circle. A Petrol station with small store is just metres away. Hotel had a nice hot tub which was fun to use. They have a separate dining area with a microwave which they let you use…it does doesn’t come with a grill or oven though.

Beautiful hotel with outdoor hot tubs. Room very nice,clean. Stuff was friendly and helpful. Walkable to convenient store,restaurants. Close too waterfalls, geyser, crator and hot spring. We had amazing stay. Highly recommend this hotel.

Everything was great, from hot tub, reception to room and breakfast. Only gripe was decking as we came out from breakfast. There had been an overnight frost which we were very aware of however I still nearly went flying.
