「The Kolkuós Guesthouse is a hidden gem! We really enjoyed the the quiet, secluded location right on the shore. The house is beautifully remodeled and furnished and very clean. Breakfast was amazing and served in the quaint dining room. The staff was pleasant and extremely helpful. The Kolkuós Guesthouse was by far our favorite place to stay on our trip to Iceland!」

「The guest house is by the lake and the view is really nice! The kitchen and bathroom is shared and well equipped, there are 2 washroom in the floor, one large and one small, the room is a little bit small, it is even smaller than the larger bath room but warm and cozy, it is okay for a good night's sleep and rest for another long drive next day.」

「We enjoyed our stay here in June 2026. The apartment was a good size and well equipped. The views were lovely and it was very quiet. A couple of days before our check in day we received a message from the host with some very helpful information about things to do and see in the area which was much appreciated. The message said that they would send us check in instructions on our arrival day but unfortunately this didn't happen which left us wondering if there was a problem with our booking, I...
