Nice guest house, good location and view. All the hot water from the taps is sulphuric and does smell very strong but if that’s not a problem for you it’s great
This is an excellent guesthouse with fully stocked kitchen, coffee, and large rooms with private bathroom. Check in was easy, using a code. Our only issue was that there were no restaurants open in town and we had to drive to the next town to eat. There is a supermarket in town with plenty of items, open from 9am-6pm. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Excellent self serve guesthouse. Walkable harbour front town, well appointed room and functional communal kitchen. Was pleasantly surprised to have use of the laundry machine!
The instructions provided for check-in and check-out were very thorough and easy to follow. The room was clean and pleasant. The kitchen was clean and filled with tea, coffee, plates, and utensils. It has laundry on site.
Very nice clean room with linens and towels. There is a small table and chair. There is a common kitchen with stove, sink, coffee and tea. It is small though and it was crowded at breakfast time. We did not know to ask for a room with water view. That would have been nice. There is a nature park north of the property for nice hiking. There are restaurants in town.
Staff was so friendly and greeted us upon arrival. Kitchen had everything we needed and the rooms were very clean. The pool/spa is a minute walk just down the road, the front desk lady was so nice. Definitely recommend this place to stay!
The property was located in a great spot. Very quiet and clean. The communal kitchen was great if you wanted to save some money on food. We ate at the harbour restaurant next door, highly recommend!
Adorable hidden gem of a stay! It was absolutely gorgeous and cozy. The rooms were a great size with access to a kitchen on each floor. No TV or AC unit in the room.
Very nice room and we enjoyed the kitchen facilities since there is limited dining in the area. They had a wonderful binder of information about the area and story of a Icelandic murder mystery.
This was a nice hotel off of the beaten track. Our room was clean and spacious. We were warned that the hot water had a sulphur smell but it quickly went away after using the sink.
We would have no problem staying here again.
The room is spacious and clean. The view is amazing and mesmerizing. The property is mouse quiet. The room had one operable window which allowed fresh air entry. The bed was very comfortable. The Harbor restaurant next door was VERY GOOD.
