「The lobby area and room were spotless. Everything looked newly renovated and the design was exceptional. The room was small but had a large and beautiful bathroom. We also appreciated having the small refrigerator. The only thing lacking for me was a kettle. The location was very quiet as we were in the back on the ground floor. 「Mooi, kleinschalig hotel in het leuke stadje Silves. Mooie, schone kamer, heerlijke douche. Wij sliepen beneden waar je verkeer hoorde van de doorgaande weg. Dit vooral vroeg in de ochtend. Ontbijt was eenvoudig, maar prima in orde. 」

「I stayed at the same resort in the fall of 2019 and knew exactly what to expect. Rooms were simply decorated, but spacious, clean, with a balcony and a nice view of the marina. It was nice to have a coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, a cook top and utensils. Location was very good and so was the included breakfast. We stayed there after the season, in early November, which was reflected in the price and was a good value.」

The pool was always crowded however and the no leaving towels for more than an hour was not enforced. We could not enjoy the pool for that reason as not enough areas to sit. 」

「We loved our stay at Placid Village. The host was very helpful and friendly. They delivered a huge breakfast of a fruit tray, pancakes, a variety of breads, milk, juice, coffee. There were several nice restaurants nearby 5 minutes driving. There are several beaches and the seven hanging valley trailhead within 5minutes driving. The area is very quiet and dark at night. The only problem I had was that gps sent me to a somewhat isolated residential area using the address listed. I reentered...

「Tout était parfait. Nous avons été bien accueillis. Nous avons des bicyclettes et on nous a permis de les ranger dans un bon endroit malgré que nous n'aurons pas avisé avant. Excellent petit déjeuner. Chambre très propre. Lit confortable et bonne douche. 」

「A perfect home base in the western Algarve. Clean, quiet and family run. Breakfast options are good and get you set for the day. Room is spacious, bed is comfortable. Appreciated being up away from the beach but still easily walkable to Algar Seco boardwalk and the beach. Easy parking and easy to leave and return to the Inn after day trips. Plus, returning to pool area after walking trails all day was a real treat. Highly recommend!」
