"Everything was clean and staff was very courteous and friendly. The morning breakfasts were delicious and very satisfying. The pool was always crowded however and the no leaving towels for more than an hour was not enforced. We could not enjoy the pool for that reason as not enough areas to sit. "

"I cannot fault this hotel. It is spotlessly clean. The rooms are a great size with a lovely balcony to sit out on and the bed/pillows very comfy. The bed was so big we did not touch at all. Only down side was the glass sliding bathroom door which was big noisy and cluncky. Staff could not do enough for you. We had food in both the restaurant and the bar both lovely. We used the spa which was nice as the weather was not so good outside. We had a car which if you want to explore like we do then I recommend. The breakfast was vast and tasty! We had fresh fruit every morning! Something for everyone. Yes the road was noisy, but i knew about this before we went and to be honest zoned out to it, apart from when someone came down revving their engine. I would fully recommend this to anyone looking for a 5* service in a quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of praia da rocha. "

"The room was cheap and lovely after hostel stays for several months. I was disappointed that on my second morning I was asked my room number and told my breakfast is not included. There was no mention at check in, or my first morning. Better communication at check in for your guests would be appreciated."

"Extrêmement bien situé, à quelques minutes de marche de la superbe plage, coin tranquille mais tout de même proche des restaurants et bars, sans les décibels ! Supérette en face de l’hôtel au point où on peut s’y rendre en maillot de bain. On y trouve pratiquement tout ce dont on a besoin et à de très bons prix."

"Okay. Last year I was pretty harsh on the Casabela Hotel. But here my partner and I find ourselves back home in the UK after another great holiday in Portugal. We love Portugal… especially Ferragudo. The Casabela Hotels location is amazing. I will say it again, the hotels location is amazing. This is why we love it. The staff are very friendly, helpful and attentive. The rooms are spacious and we always for the Sea View as there is the possibility of Mosquitos so being higher up that’s less likely. The sea view is quite the view first thing in the morning and last thing at night. Now to the buts… but the beds are too hard and you can get a nights sleep in them. But boy they are hard! Something we are willing to put up with. Again, after our stay last year I noted no complimentary Tea or Coffee making facilities and also no mini bar. Something you’d expect from a Four Star Hotel. The breakfast for is okay to good but could be better. Maybe with a breakfast menu with more specialist breakfasts like Eggs Benedict etc. But due to the location we over look these short falls. But… The beds could be better The bathrooms need an overhaul - as they’re pretty dated. The breakfast buffet is okay but could be better. The rooms could do with complimentary Tea and Coffee facilities. The plus points The Hotel is super clean. The bed linen is always clean and fresh The staff are friendly and very helpful. The location is amazing The beach is easy to get to. "
