This is an excellent complex which we have stayed at many times. All rooms are large with a separate Kitchen/lounge as well as large bedrooms.

Amazing trip!

This was an amazing trip for us! We were a family of 18 staying in multiple apartments over the resort. The pool, the townhouses and apartments, the service. All was amazing! We can not fault it. We went with elderly family members at 70 years and old and the youngest was 7!

Great group family resort

Great staff and the main pool was the main attraction. We were a group of 20 people staying in a mix of 2 bed apartments. All the rooms were good, clean and had everything you needed. We didnt need to fight for loungera in the morning but most people were quite quick to place towels. Some of the pool area had tiles that could do we replacing and some of the bridges needed attention. The Cool Bar by the pool was great for drinks, ice creams etc. The breakfast was always good, attentive staff. They offered various eggs too but no sign to say that so found out by seeing other peoples food. The nearby town of Carvoiero was great to visit too. Easy to get around in cabs and Ubers.

Stayed mid-October. Fantastic resort, staff super friendly and attentive. We celebrated a couple of birthdays and received cakes and sparkling wines from the resort. Buffet breakfast was excellent. The resort was kept spotless and rooms cleaned each day. The location was great, near the beach, supermarkets, town and some great restaurants. Only thing I’d say could be improved upon is the heating of the indoor pool could be slightly warmer.

The 2 bedroom unit was well laid out. The cleaning staff were excellent. Great Pool and reasonably good gym. About a 20 min walk (5 min drive) to the seaside town of Carvoeiro where a number of good restaurants are located

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel in Portugal. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and especially great with the kids, which made a huge difference for us. We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment, and it had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The space was clean, well-equipped, and perfect for our family. The breakfast offered a great selection each morning – something for everyone – and really set us up for the day. But honestly, the highlight for the kids was the pool area. They didn’t want to leave! It was safe, fun, and a big hit for the whole family. Could do with a small amount of upkeep in this area with the decking but this didn’t hinder or bother us in anyway. All in all, a fantastic experience and we would definitely return. Highly recommend for families looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

The breakfast was really good with lots of options such as fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals and coffee. The gym was good however it only opened at 9am which wasn't convenient if wanting to do exercise in the morning before breakfast as breakfast buffet closed at 10am. We stayed in a suite and it was really spacious with a nice outdoor area.

This is a nice property that is convenient for families that want an apartment and kitchen but some of the hotel facilities issue we had was with the check-in team. They were not helpful at all and even though there were properties available as it was not fully occupied we had to wait until 4 o’clock to get our room on our first day even though we arrived at 11 am we were offered anywhere to change which was not ideal with children after a flight. Breakfast staff are friendly. Housekeeping was a bit hidden miss sometimes shower gel and towels would be replaced and sometimes not. We had an issue with our dryer, which was the only option to dry clothes after they had been washed. We did report this but it was not fixed.

Great resort with some flaws

Fantastic place, couldnt fault how nice the rooms are and hotel. Onky downsides were 1. Location - it is on the outskirt of the town which means if you don't have a car you're talking 20-30 minutes of walking into town which is made hard since it is downhill and on the way back it is uphill 2. Barely any staff was knowledgeable in English which made it hard to order food/drinks 3. Kids - I love kids but there were a lot of families with kids and couples with kids which means a lot of noise 4. Not the best options for gluten free for breakfast. They have bread which isn't nice, cereals and croissant/madeleines (if they remembered to take them out of the freezer). No separate toaster either Otherwise can not fault the hotel. We were a couple with no kids and we went in September to avoid kids. If you have a family then great place as they have a kids playground and a small kids pool.

2 bedroom villa was spacious. Cannot comment on pools or grounds as we visited off season. Breakfast plentiful and delicious. Kitcen not very well supplied for cooking meals , but we managed. The glass wall in one of the showers was not connected in any way to the tub, so the bathroom ended up totally flooded; housekeeping did not replace the towels we soaked from mopping it up.

The most amazing place. Staff were lovely, everywhere extremely clean, facilities fantastic and our suite was just perfect. Will definitely go back!

We loved it at Montesanto, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, we were there to celebrate my husband 50th birthday and they surprised him with a bottle of wine and cake. The facilities are very accessible for someone with difficulty with mobility for example, lift to the restaurant and pool and walkable paths around the property. We are definitely coming back!
