"Small, boutique hotel that had numerous cosy seating areas and lounges. We were upgraded to a suite and had a separate lounge. Just beautiful in every way. Black out shutters, comfy bed, clean bathroom. Host was super friendly and helpful. Restaurant food out rounding and much better than local village. Couldn’t get a more perfect location. Walk down the hill 5 minutes to the village of Sintra and up the hill 5 mins to the Iniation Well and Palace. Cannot fault this place. "

"This hotel was stunning from the moment we pulled in. The Palace was lovely to walk through, the gardens were beautiful and provided may photo opportunities, and our room was pretty and had a large wardrobe to store all our clothes. I do wish we had a bigger bed as one double bed for two people was quite squishy but that was the only thing I’d change. The food in their dining room was excellent, we felt so spoiled with endless options and nothing on their menu that disappointed. Their staff were knowledgeable, happy to make recommendations of where to visit in the area and treated us like royalty from the moment they opened the doors to welcome us in. "

"Staff was very accommodating, and were able to store my baggage for the day while I went out to explore. Note that the hotel is in the driving restricted historic center, so likely your taxi or tuktuk will drop you off on the main road, and you'll have to walk 5 minutes to the hotel. Breakfast was small, but had everything we needed for a healthy start to the day. Room size was good, and bed was very comfy. Adjoining bathroom was quite large, with a comfortably sized antique rain shower that was set very high to accommodate any basketball player-sized guests. Room did come with a heater, which I appreciated. "

"Great location near the train station, right on the border between the old town with the scenic views and beautiful hikes, and the modern city centre. Great big room with loads of space, lovely bathroom, little kitchenette corner with a microwave, table, chairs, etc. Loved staying there. "
