"Nice breakfast, clean rooms, comfy beds"

"The room was clean but the comforter had a stain, so when I called the front desk they were attentive, kind and immediately brought up a clean comforter. The staff is very sweet, always said hi and answered all our questions."

"It was a pretty good hotel and nice that it had a hot tub and didn't really have much complaints about it thankfully. I'd definitely stay there again."

"Good staff"

"Super friendly and helpful staff, easy location, I liked the coffee choices."

"We loved the large room with a king, queen, twin and pull out couch for our family of six."

"We had a nice 2 night stay. Friendly staff, clean rooms, enjoyable stay."

"Stayed here for my brothers wedding. Friendly staff with a good breakfast."

"It was historic, quiet, simple and priced great. The owners are great and very cordial. The outside of the hotel looks like a palace and has been around a very long time. Love the stone and stone lions."

"The guy at the front desk was perhaps the nicest person I've ever encountered. The hotel was very clean. The third floor (where my room was) hallway seemed a bit "rundown" -- not sure if they were in the middle of some sort of maintenance to it. The room was just fine, and everywhere else was really nice."

"Room was a lot cheaper than some other hotels in Bloomington, and really nice. Staff were incredibly polite, and the lakeside view in the morning is gorgeous. While a bit out of the way, the scenic drive and atmosphere make this worth staying anytime I'm in town."
