「Room & service was great, clean & fresh. Bed was clean but a bit on the hard side, not good for someone disabled, woke up in considerable back pain but can't complain about anything else.」

「The stay was comfort but expensive for what it was. I was in the back of the hotel so no views and all sounds of the kitchens. One good point was a bath instead of just a shower but the standard of decorating needs very much doing.」

「It's a cheap and cheerful B&B except no breakfast at the moment (probably because of the season). Lots of cafés nearby though. Don't expect the height of luxury at £65 a night for a double room en suite. The view was to die for!」

「A lovely gem of a hotel, from a different era, but in a really good way. All staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, everything was spotless and looked loved. If you’re after a modern hotel, with all mod cons, then not here, but for charm, and just gentle loveliness, a great place. Minor gripes - bottle of water and shower gel / shampoo not replaced when empty. Shower one which was either boiling or ice cold on a millimetre turn. But genuinely minor & did not, in any way, dampen the stay....

「This is a very traditonal hotel in the best sense of that word. The rooms are spacious and we had one with a great view towards Robin Hoods Bay. We had dinner and breakfast and both were very good.」

「The host was friendly and had useful local knowledge , the property was close to the sea front , the breakfast was included and delicious. There is no parking at the property , Its an excellent B&b however I thought I had booked a boutique hotel. 」

「Made welcome straight away and made an suggestion to switch the intended room which I booked as the landlord seeing i was struggling with my knee. Room was clean as with facilities. 」

「Lovely place with easy walking distance to the sea front and the town. The room was comfortable and perfect for our one night stay. We had a really nice breakfast before leaving to set us off on our way. Very helpful advice as well about the parking as the disc zone starts almost outside and there are plenty of discs in reception. 」

「What a gem of a find and without hesitation would return. The bus stop is literally just outside around the corner where we got the bus to Scarborough for £2 esch way. We did the pub quiz on the Wednesday night for a good cause at only £1 each to enter with a free bowl of chips and a plate of sandwiches. The pub has a great atmosphere and we eat in the pub on the evening. I had home made steak pie with yorkshire puddings to start. The bedrooms are modern and very clean with tea msking facilities...

「It was a convenient location. It was good to be able to leave the car outside the guest house, and for it to included in the price. My husband and I enjoyed the views from the bedroom window overlooking the bay. However the bedroom was smaller than we expected. The staff and customers were friendly. We expected our 'own' bathroom to be in our bedroom, as opposed to being on the landing next to our bedroom. 」
