「Hotel was worn out. Room had stains in carpet, and mattresses were squeaky. Wood surfaces in the elevator were worn and damaged. Overall the property just looks work out and needs an update.」

「I have stayed at this hotel for seminars and have always been impressed with the staff and the location and decided to bring my family here for our activity. The room was clean and the view to the courtyard was amazing. The weekend buffet had quite a variety delicious foods and our waitress was nice and made sure our coffee was full. Would definitely recommend for any activities in the Iowa City area.」

「It is a good hotel and I would consider staying there again. I have two complaints; the first is that the TV never really worked properly while we were there. It kept losing the signal. The second issue is that the housekeeper would blast his (bad) music while he was working. It was so loud that you could hear it down the hallway even with the room door closed. That definitely was not very relaxing.」
