「Clean room, but blankets were very thin! Brrrrr Otherwise nice amenities」

「Things were all older and dated, but everything was clean. Bedsheets were so old they were nubby. Bathroom was fine with very soft water. Included breakfast was marginal, with pop tarts and weak coffee. It was interesting having a busy bar in the midst of the building, adding character. It is also a gathering place for both Harley bikers and golfers for the adjacent course; quite a contrast. It's the only place around, so if we go to another concert in Mt.Carroll, we'll probably stay again.」

「Room was a surprise, living room. Separate from bedroom. We got there at 4 room was not cleaned yet so we had to leave and find something to do for an hour. Lady at the desk was apologetic. Breakfast was a joke.」

「Driving from VA to Iowa and needed a safe clean place to stay. Loved the hotel, local eats within walking distance (MUST TRY LA Herrera). Very helpful and nice.」

「The actual beds and breakfast at this hotel are very good! The staff is nice and helpful with requested towels and blankets. It is affordable and conveniently located in a beautiful region of the state. Unfortunately, the property also shows many signs of age and dilapidation. In our room, the curtains were torn, the carpets felt, and in places, looked dirty and worn. And the bathroom was need of several minor repairs, the doors stuck and needed paint. It could be cleaner. 「Absolute amazing weekend with my husband away from everything to celebrate our anniversary. The staff was amazing, so friendly. The room was beautiful, the view was amazing, the food was to die for at the restaurant downstairs. Could not have asked for a better place to enjoy with my husband. Will definitely be back!!」
