「There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about the property or the staff. The only thing I was missing was a fan noise and being able to make the room colder than 65°. Other than that everything was perfect! So quiet and clean, easy coffee maker. Feels special to stay there!」

The entire property has such fun history and the rooms are so uniquely decorated and very confortable. Having said that, good luck with your rotation of staff. I am always kind to Front Desk Clerks because they have a rough job. This young man gave me no welcome, but just asked for my name and sniffed at the fact that it was a “third-party reservation“. 「We loved our stay here! The rooms are thoughtfully decorated and clean. The staff was so kind and attentive - we loved the daily breakfasts and sitting in the courtyard in the evenings listening to the birds. Very good location and walking distance to many areas.」

「The ambiance of the hotel was charming--felt intimate and friendly and had all the amenities. Hotel is just off the plaza so easy to walk to shops and restaurants. We treated ourselves to a king bed room with a fireplace in the separate living room. Upon request a staff member came and started a fire, which was lovely on cool evenings. There is a small bar attached to the hotel with a pizza maker serving up delicious fresh pizza. The rooms were spacious and clean, though bathroom a bit dated.」

「Where to start, the lack of staff during a Memorial Day weekend was inexcusable. One person at the coffee shop (Starbucks) and one person at the bar. Other than housekeeping, the staff were not friendly or seemed to lack interest in their job. The casino payout was awful and when you did hit, it took the staff a long time to respond. This is a resort ran like a small town hotel. Very strict regulations regarding what beverages or food could be brought into the hotel. Resort prices with Motel 6...
