The staff was wonderful. The hotel was clean. The bed was really comfortable. Breakfast wasn’t the greatest but we were more concerned with a good nights rest.

Disliked: Staff & service
Location was good, interior and lobby of the hotel were fine. Rooms need updating but everything was functional and it worked. We had a problem getting checked in - not at the staffs fault, but management for not scheduling more than one employee to man the desk plus help other guests. The employee who checked us in was very kind but clearly needed an extra set of hands, at no fault of his own.
Stay was remarkable in newly renovated property technology enabled climate control air-conditioning, clean sanitized rooms, lobby is large with coffee shop open most of the day.
We used meeting room in lobby for quick review with our work team. Overall, comfortable stay will comeback for project near-by. Highly recommend you use second floor meeting room for corporate meetings or project meetings.
Excellent guest service by staff, warm check-in and nice parking.
The staff was friendy and thehotel had many upgrades. The room was clean and comfortable. Overall we had a nice quiet stay. We plan to stay there again in the future.
Staff was great and very helpful. Very hot and air worked great. Almost too cold! Lol saw the pool but never went swimming but looked big and very inviting. Only bad experience was got bad milk but that was fixed next morning. No coffee pot in room and very small microwave but otherwise room was great. Loved all the pillows on bed. We would stay here again!
Extremely friendly staff, clean room, comfy bed, and good location. Water did not get very hot, though. Not sure why, but we kept finding Asian beetles in our room.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Amenities
I was not made aware the pool was down for maintenance even after chatting with the front desk clerk and I were talking about me taking my 6 year old the next morning. VERY DISAPPOINTED. The walls were being repainted which was nice to see some improvement. The carpet is lifting all over the place. It’s cool that it is solar powered. The beds are hard and aren’t stable. The pillows aren’t comfortable. The free breakfast was decent for being free. However, the place was empty and it was kinda creepy because of it. There were little things that need replacing, but I’m sure with updates it will be taken care of. The heating unit is hard to figure out. Oh and there was something very sticky and gross on the window sill. We might go back if the pool is available, but without that and it being the only thing to entertain my child, it will be a deal breaker!! The best price for a facility like this is the Expedia price because their website is excessively over priced.
Do not stay at this hotel. We never had hot water. Electricity went out for hours. No internet. Staff lied to us about the condition of the rooms, saying there was hot water when there was not. The breakfast food was not replenished and the fruit was bad. The fitness room had rickety machines that barely worked. Do not stay here!
Had pleasant stay at Montcler hotel, our first impress as we walked into grand lobby was "WOW" lobby was recently renovated with coffee service with lodge feel. Rooms are ecofriendly, well maintained upscale feel.
Staff was welcoming, quick check-in and great stay. We will comeback for our corporate stay.
Nice amenities, good functional gym, newer televisions and excellent stay.
The pool does not work, breakfast is only on Saturday and Sunday, there was stuff on the wall, the carpet had a section replaced and was not blended at all. Highly recommend some where else.
No one attended to us at check in for 15 minutes - my wife finally found someone cleaning the rooms to come to the front desk - none of the amenities listed online were open - no restaurant or bar. Would never stay at again
To start out, please go to the next listing. I stayed here the weekend of Oct 9-11, and it was the worst experience I have ever had. First morning my wife just got out of the shower and the lights went out and we do not know when they came back on. According to the staff this was the second time this week. Second morning we woke up to a cold shower, the pump went out the night before and the management supposedly knew it. There were many unhappy guests. The breakfast was cold; there were slot machines where you would sit for breakfast so the kids could access them. the bed coverings were sheets and a micro blanket, the chair in the room was so stained it may have had unidentified life on it. When the lights went out the emergency lights did not turn on in our hallway. The deck cannot be accessed by the hotel guests that is advertised in the listing. Overall, don't stay there.
Two of the three nights were good. The third was terrible!! No electricity, no hot water and a staff that was clueless. I told the single staff member on both Saturday and Sunday that I wanted the $446.07 refunded to my credit card and present me with new bill for $300.00, which would have been payment for the first two days of our stay. Both individuals said they could not. So, I told them to notify the manager and/or owner that I had already contacted my credit card company was told to dispute the charge. And that is what I am going to do.
We had stayed at the The Montcler Hotel years ago when it was a Best Western. I will never stay in that Hotel again.
In addition to what I have already written a few small complaints that I would not have fussed about were 1) the continental breakfast was awful, 2) the advertised bar & lounge and the Italian restaurant were closed 3) the shower pump bottles of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel were empty, 4) the Kleenex container was empty and 5) our room never received clean towels plus the trash containers were never emptied.
This is not in any way a luxury hotel. The rooms are old and outdated and lacked normal amenities that you would find in a luxury hotel. We had one piece of tissue left in the tissue box, I requested a new tissue box and the very next day it appeared to have been handled but found only one tissue was put in the empty box! Seriously? We needed a flashlight to use the bathroom as the light did not work, and we told the desk who did nothing to fix it. No coffee maker in the room and no fresh coffee downstairs. The microwave did not work and the identical room across the hall included two tv’s, ours had one. The bed linens appeared to be from the 80’s, no comforter and the paper thin blanket was useless. It is advertised that this has a bar and a restaurant which are not operational any longer. Their online rating is wrong as they aren’t even near two stars. Avoid this hotel.
Pulled into my room about 12a as we went to a concert..got to check in where I clearly called and chose a room with a bathtub for my child. Arrive and no bathtub and they refused to refund my money..ended up driving all night and checked in another hotel at 3a. Never again.
We booked through hotels.com.
When we arrived, they didn't know how to check us in. We waited 90 minutes. Finally, they took our group to our 4 rooms. One room was supposed to have 2 beds for a family of 4. There was only 1 bed. One of the king rooms we entered had an unmade bed and towels on the floor. They made us wait even longer after that. Then, they told us that hotels.com hadn't charged us enough and asked us to pay MORE. So unprofessional. This place may have been nice in the past, but it is in disrepair. We complained to the owner, and he said he'd try to improve. No refund offered. No apology. Beware!
We booked at the last minute on the Saturday Labor Day weekend when another hotel screwed up our stay. When we got there one staff member was premed gathering trash and we waited approx 5 minutes for her. She checked us in to the third floor and handed us a business card to turn in the lights in the room. We got to the third floor and it was easily in the high 80’s to nineties in the hall. The room we went into was 77 and climbing and we could not get it down. WiFi was sporadic, and tv didn’t work. I called down there and she was checking someone in and said she would
Call back. I finally went down and she was trying to secure more people apparently they expected 25 arrivals and that jumped to 74. I told her we couldn’t stay in a room that hot and she finally moved us to the second floor thankfully. The room was cooler and they semi worked with horrible sound. WiFi was still sporadic but we could
Sleep in the very hard beds. Next morning we went down for breakfast and there were at 9am 5 hard pancakes and nothing else. We checked out and went to Mac Donald’s. Over 350 dollars plus additional tax that they added on and no free breakfast, two towels one for each of us. Would not recommend and will never stay there again
