The quality of the rooms and services as well as the rooftop are excellent really love the mini kitchen and we spent a lot of time swimming. Nice big rooms in our had a review. The only thing is that the staff is not the most customer service oriented - other than one young man upstairs the bar staff was pretty unfriendly not a full service hotel much more to yourself.

Casa Costera met all of our expectations...location, room amenities, cleanliness, friendly and helpful staff. However, when we sat on our balcony there was a high building in front of us so the beach view was a sliver of space between that structure and the next one to the left. For us this was not a deal breaker but don't advertise unobstructed beach view.

We loved the neighborhood with proximity to the beach (hotel provides beach chair vouchers), restaurants, grocery store, etc. Rooms were large, kitchenette well-equipped and free laundry a nice bonus. Helpful, friendly staff. Upper floors are better for ocean views, but alert: 8th floor has solid-wall balconies rather than see-through. A small drawback in a wonderful week in Isla Verde.

My stay at your hotel was truly amazing. From the very first interaction, Monica at the front desk was nothing short of exceptional. My guest and I were greeted with warm smiles, and she graciously held our bags until our room became available. Throughout our stay, we interacted with Monica several times, and her welcoming personality and positive energy remained consistent each time. She always made a point to ask if we needed anything, which made us feel genuinely valued and cared for. José was also incredibly helpful during the evenings. He was friendly, attentive, and willing to assist whenever needed. While the entire staff demonstrated professionalism and hospitality, Monica and José stood out as the team members we interacted with most frequently, and they truly enhanced our experience. On the final night of our stay, I did notice that it seemed as though the HVAC system may have stopped or been turned off, as we were unable to adjust it and the room became noticeably warm. I am not sure if this is standard practice, but I wanted to bring it to your attention for awareness. Thank you again for the outstanding service. We look forward to visiting again soon.

The bathroom needs an exhaust fan! The rooftop food - burger have my son diarrhea. It was the only time he ate there and got sick! Also the 2 girls that work up there should not- they are not friendly and actually a bit rude! So we never went back there to eat or drink or use the pool! The beds and pillows are horrible and not a standard queen size - more like a full size. I would not stay again.

Everything was exceptional. However It's going on 3 weeks and I STILL haven't got my security deposit back. Hotel is giving me the run around. My bank is doing what they can with information I received from the hotel; the minimum. The receipt is missing the security deposit because it was included in the stay cost.

I stayed at Casa Costera, Isla Verde Beach during a recent business trip, and it exceeded every expectation. The property blends comfort, space, and location perfectly—ideal for anyone traveling solo but wanting the freedom and feel of a high-end apartment. The suites are massive, easily some of the largest I’ve stayed in for a Marriott property. The layout was perfect for both working and relaxing, with plenty of space to spread out after a long day of meetings. Everything felt new, modern, and thoughtfully designed. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to Isla Verde Beach, which made for a great morning or evening unwind. Within a 10-minute walk, there are plenty of dining options, from casual beach spots to upscale restaurants, so I never had to go far for a great meal. The highlight, though, was the rooftop restaurant. The food was excellent, but the view stole the show—you get a full panoramic look at the coastline and sunset, making it the perfect place to wrap up the day. For business or leisure, Casa Costera delivers the best of both worlds: professional comfort and island relaxation. I’ll definitely be returning on my next trip to San Juan.

I thought I was getting a 1 bdrm with a balcony, but after checking in and going to my room I discovered that my room didn’t have one. I spoke with the front desk and was told that I would get a call the next day and they would let me know if one became available. I never received the call. On my 3rd night there a killed a Roach in the bathroom. I called the front desk to let them know and to have someone come up to spray. I was told that I needed to change rooms so they come have a company come out to spray. My husband and I moved rooms at 2:30a.m. And went to a room that had dirty floors. We had to turn around and go back to the previous room and someone came up and sprayed some bug spray and said they would have housekeeping come up the next day. I asked for housekeeping to clean the room and sweep and mop the floors. I left the next day and came back to a room that had not been cleaned. I had to ask for them to come back to empty the trash. I’m guessing they sprayed the room??? I was promised compensation for my troubles but didn’t receive anything at check out. I’m still waiting for someone to contact me. Oh did I say that I was told that a bug was in my room because of the climate???
