「Staff was very helpful. They overbooked our room at Park View so gave us an Uber ride to their sister hotel Tucan a few blocks away. Very nice people. Room was quieter at the Tucan. Great breakfast to go. Wonderful coffee!!」

「 A small hotel, this is run by a nice couple who focus on making sure their guests' needs are met. It is close to the SJO airport & provides pickups as well as shuttles to SJO. This morning we needed to leave before the scheduled breakfast time and they made sure to provide the full breakfast for us early. Since they couldn't provide a shuttle due to their work, Daniel arranged a ride for us, paying the car himself. Someone remarked there is no AC, but there are lots of fans and AC wasn't...

「House has lots of character, staff are friendly and helpful, breakfast was good and included. Rooms were basic but very clean, bed was comfortable and shower had plenty of hot water! 」

「Peter and his staff were so kind and welcoming, he even stayed up until 1am for our late flight. The only complaint are the beds were pretty stiff, but that’s common in CR. It’s under the flight path of the airport so you will hear the jets every now and then, it can be loud at times. Overall I was very pleased with the sincere kindness we received, that to me means a lot. Thanks!」

「I came because this place is famous in the birding community, and the gardens did not disappoint. Breakfast was excellent, but it would’ve been nice to have a light roast Coffee option, besides the dark roast.」
