「We had such a great stay at Hampton Inn St. Simons Island! The hotel was super clean, quiet, and very family friendly. My daughter absolutely loved the pool and looked forward to breakfast every morning, which honestly made the trip even easier for us. The location was PERFECT. It felt tucked away and peaceful surrounded by all the beautiful old trees, so it had that relaxing secluded feel, but you were still right in the middle of everything. 「The Kress was an amazing surprise for my wife and I during a quick overnighter to meet up with some old childhood friends. I grew up in this area and the downtown district had been forgotten. It was great to see this place back to life. The Kress has done an excellent job restoring this old department store. The rooms are incredible with large common space and bedrooms. I wished we had booked an extra night. 」

「Beautifully renovated near interstate...parking was a bit confusing as to the entrance...make sure you enter thru the 1st entry at the Comfort Inn entrance and immediately turn left in front of the building and continue till you see the RRI which sits back a bit...staff ULTRA friendly and helpful.」

「The property is lovely. Despite being told it was heated, the pool was not heated. (I did not find this out - until after checking the temperature with my hand, and asking the concierge/ front desk to turn up the temperature. Only then did they find out by calling maintenance that the pool heater was not working). There was no mention of when it would be fixed -if ever. 」

「Ocean Lodge Resort is in a good location and very close to the beach. A parking garage is available and nice. The restaurant and bar is only open in the evening on Wednesday through Saturday. The floors in our unit were dirty so we wore shoes during our stay. The patio was nice but the unit was dark. This didn’t feel like a resort.」

「The front desk staff was super friendly and the restaurant next door was excellent! Our dog was welcome at both the hotel and restaurant outside, Right on the ocean. It was a magical weekend. The room could have used another chair or two and the TV had a back strip down it. But we were on the beach most of the time which is line 200 yards away so over all we were super happy. 」
