「My single room was immaculately clean, very basic , but suited my needs as a frequent visitor to Aberdour. The breakfast was adequate but my evening meal was home cooked and delightful. It is in a perfect location, just a walk away from the beautiful beach, boutique shops and cafes. The staff are friendly and welcoming and I would say this hotel is perfect for a weekend stay. 」

She went over and above to help us with our inquiries re the local area, the local cemetery and the local council. We cant thank her enough. 「Shared canteen area is messy and not the cleanest. Shared bathroom upstairs has a shower which doesn't work. Television didn't work in my room (possibly the remote) - but it was very late and I couldn't be bothered chasing this up. I was awoken by very loud noises of arguing and fighting around 2.45am. I thought something serious was happening - but then realised the person in the next room had their television om at an unbearably loud volume. I obviously didn't want to knock their door and ask...
