This was truly the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I could live with the fact the room was on the 4th floor, up loads of stairs and had no air conditioning so felt like being slow cooked the whole time I was in there. However, there was no toilett or shower, and the shared amenities were dirty and disgusting. HOWEVER, the worst and most dangerous part of my stay was being woken up at 5am by a man trying to access my hotel room. As a female I’ve never felt so unsafe staying anywhere before. I reached out to staff to let them know what had happened and they did not care at all. I would highly recommend NEVER staying here, I’ve travelled the world and stayed in some very cheap accommodation and this was the absolute worst.

Too tiny, very packed, hard to stand two persons. No breakfast, charge 40 pounds to store luggage the same day after checkout.

We had a great stay overall. We had a twin bed room — the room was a bit small overall still really nice aesthetically. Air conditioning was a bit hard to manage as it wouldn’t drop when we adjusted it before bed leading to waking up in night sweats since the only bedding they provide was comforters. We got to visit the sky bar once but they are only opened on certain days which was a bummer. Staff was nice, they provide water and cookies on the reception floor that you can refill with a cup.. I do wish the room had water instead, we opted for a convenient store around the corner.

I have stayed many times over the years at Harte & Garter. It’s a great location with very helpful staff. It’s also charming and the views of Windsor Castle are lovely.

The room was clean and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and the place is very well located.
