As the inside temperature never dropped below 24 degrees (19th to 24th June), we tried to leave bedroom windows open at night, but only did so for an hour on the first night, as there is so much traffic for most of the night, roaring up and down, so not had a lot of sleep. "Very friendly staff. Warm cozy room. Well stocked bathroom - shower gel, shampoo, hand lotion, shower cap. Nice selection of teas and coffee in the room plus shortbread. A couple of areas could benefit from attention - some of furniture was a bit shabby, shower pressure was very low and oscillated between unbearably hot and tepid. Plenty of parking but there was no real guidance or convention as to the orientation/areas to park in. None of these were major issues. Lovely house and grounds."
