Very comfortable hotel. We stayed in the stable block with beautiful views of a lovely tree and the sea beyond. Ideally located for coastal walks. Breakfast and dinner were excellent although very expensive.

A lovely warm welcome (home made cookies!) and a very comfortable stay. The room was spacious, beds huge, bathroom accessible, bathroom products divine, and there was lots of storage space. Walking distance to the beach and to The Ship Inn, and easy driving distance to other interesting places to visit: Felbrigg Hall, Holt, Blakeney (seal safari) and Wells Next The Sea all worth a visit. Breakfast was lovely and service excellent.

The restaurant was excellent, Sunday lunch was best I’ve had for a long time so we dined there the following night as well. The breakfast was excellent - the residents breakfast included continental breakfast with ham to carve yourself which melted in your mouth and a choice of hot breakfast - gorgeous eggs royal with generous helping of smoked salmon.

Our three night stay at The Maltings was completely excellent - the location is superb, the hotel is spacious and very well appointed with a well stocked traditional bar and numerous seating areas. The Grainstore is the hotels restaurant and it is delightful - all staff were very friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble, we ate there on two of our evenings, the food was of very high quality and delicious. The Maltings is definitely a hotel we'll make return visits to!

The hotel is in a small pretty village, in walking distance of the beach , a pub a local shop and coffee shop and a beautiful church that was once an abbey. The staff were amazing and we had every thing we needed for a comfortable stay. We had lovely food at the Grain store and as the weather was good there was plenty of outdoor seating . Would highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay here and would definitely recommend! We were lucky enough to get a free upgrade on our room and it was beautifully decorated. They were friendly at check in and took us to our room, leaving us some shortbread biscuits. Breakfast in the Grain store was amazing, we also had dinner there.

Lots of young kids in the restaurant when we were there. Half term I know, but maybe an area for those looking for a more peaceful environment would be worth considering.

Room nice and spacious. Breakfast great. Restaurant lovely Carpets need a good clean in accommodation. Noisy deliveries from 7am. We put drinks on room during day time; then were charged for all of them on dinner receipt (therefore we were charged service charge on daytime bar drinks). Bizarre given we had added card to room for that exact purpose (I didn’t want to have a card allocated to room, but was told it wasn’t optional, then had bill presented at dinner anyway). Was almost like they didn’t trust us. Left a sour taste. Asked for copy of bill via Expedia after staying, got no response
