Rome's Best Kept Lodging Secret

We had an amazing stay at Navona Central Suites in Rome. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our in-room private hot tub and sauna. The staff was so helpful and attended to our every need. The location as convenient with many stores and restaurants in walking distance. We loved our stay. My only criticism is that the room was sometimes a bit too warm and we couldn't adjust the air conditioner ourselves. It would be nice if fans were placed in our rooms or ceiling fans.

Property, just like almost every hotel in old Rome, is difficult to find at first. The front is shared with other uses. Once buzzed in, all is nice and quaint. Room was roomy and window opened to courtyard. Location was great, but if you drive, this is in the restricted area so would want to park and walk to hotel.

Excellent location, beautiful building.

Frederica was a wonderful host during our stay. She was always friendly and helpful. Check in was smooth and our room was very nice. The weather was great and it was nice to have the big windows open to fresh air and the hustle and bustle of the neighborhood. The neighborhood is fantastic. Lots of great places within walking distance and lots of amazing restaurants. The building that the hotel is in is gorgeous. I would absolutely stay here again.

The neighborhood in Rome surrounding this hotel is great for clothes shopping. It is well positioned away from the busy tourist areas but still has easy access to the beat spots in Rome. The staff are very nice and accommodating. The bathroom could use a better shower but the bathtub is nice.

Best hotel stay on our entire Italy trip! Our concierge Chiara was great. The staff are friendly and the room was STUNNING. Super convenient walking distance to ALL of sites and the antique elevator was adorable. The room was immaculate, so beautiful and the bathroom was so amazing and unexpected! Two thumbs up. The area in which the hotel is located is centrally located to many historical sites restaurants and shopping. The staff went out of their way to make our stay easy and comfortable. They provided tips about dinning and attractions. The building is unique and the rooms have interesting architectural features like huge windows with wooden shades and ceilings painted with scroll work. The bed was very comfortable and the room had a coffee maker, a fridge and a Turkish bath. Breakfast was wonderful.

The location is perfekt. It is walking distance to everything. This is a hotel inside an appartement building. Good to know when you arrive, just go to the door and Navona Suites is labelled on one of the buzzers. Works perfect with a link to open doors when you have checked in. We really liked this consept with staying in a hotel and in the same building as locals. It is a safe and nice neighborhood with restaurants and shops outside. The suite was big, beautiful and clean with sauna and jacuzzi. The bed was comfortable. We could choose breakfast from a meny and the breakfast was served in the suite at requested time. The staff was so nice and helpful. We had a late flight back but could leave our luggage in the reception and they ordered taxi for us and even helped us with finding the taxi as the driver had some difficulties picking us up because there was a lot of closed streets that day. We stayed for three nights. We will stay here the next time we visit Rome!
