The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and well-equipped. The host was very helpful, meeting us at check-in and even booking a cab to the airport for us the next day. It was a very comfortable stay in an excellent location!

This is a gem of a place in a very good area. The host Frederick was amazing. He met us downstairs and assisted us with the luggage. There is a working elevator so that was a positive for seniors like us. Apartment was clean. I would go back again.

Host was very helpful at check in, flexible with our arrival and check out times. Federico was available to answer our questions and order transport for us to return to the airport even when our flight was delayed. The property has an elevator which makes taking your luggage upstairs effortless. This suite sits among friendly locals with a very popular gelato place just outside the building entrance. The restaurant “Black Tulip” was very busy with locals, which is always a good sign. Would recommend taking ataxi from airport to this location. We took the train and tram, but with our luggage, taxi would have been much better.

Happy way to end my big trip!

I liked staying here for the comfy bed, the price, and the location. The hotel itself is a ghost hotel with staff only from about 11 am to 2 pm in a residential building outside of the scenic part of Trastevere. I still liked that it had restaurants and shops at street level and was about a five-minute walk from Trastevere proper and about 25 minutes from iconic Roman landmarks in Piazza Navona. I took a city bus to get from Termini station to the bus stop about five minutes walk away. I lived it!

Perfect stay with exceptional personal service We had an amazing stay at the Hanky Suite, mainly thanks to Maria! From the very beginning, she took great care of us and was always available via WhatsApp to answer any questions we had. A special highlight was the lovely surprise she prepared for us on New Year’s Eve – such a thoughtful gesture! Maria always had plenty of excellent restaurant recommendations and was a huge help in planning our stay. Her kindness and dedication made our vacation even more special. Absolutely recommendable! We’d love to come back!

Broken air conditioning

We're upset that the air conditioning didn't work. It made for a pretty uncomfortable night and knowing it was supposed to be hot in Rome air conditioning was one of the most important features for us when we booked this room. Is there anything that can be done about this? There's no one at the front desk and we didn't feel comfortable calling our contact at the hotel at 2 in the morning. The space was nice and the host was nice when we met him at check in.
