"Wonderful location in the hills outside Bologna. Fantastic thermal spa pools. Nice food and great staff (reception speak english). The room was basic and definitely overpriced. 2 stars at best Euro 65 per night should be the price, in my experienced opinion. Noisy and drafty accommodation. Conversations in the corridors and stairwells echoed around the whole building. Smokers' cigarette smoke somehow drifted into my room. WiFi was non-existent. In summary, bad hotel for business travellers....

"Ok, it’s about 20 mins walk from train statio.
There is a bus stop yards from the hotel.
The room I got was clean (and cleaned everyday) with ample room, a desk if you need to work, a safe, good hanging space, area to unload from suitcase, good size bathroom (shower not bath) and quiet neighbourhood.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a bar which I don’t get time to visit. Breakfast was fine. Ok limited cereals and scrambled eggs for vegetarians but there is a reasonable enough options and TBH, I was filled and happy with what I got. No complaints.
The one minor drawback and it has been mentioned, walls are little paper thin. I could hear conversations in the next room but then again they were talking a bit too loud and being night probably had some drinks beforehand.
I had my earphones, so I was fine and TBH, bed was comfy and I slept fine.
There is a fresh set of slippers for you and your partner and coffee/tea making facility. A paid mini bar is also present but I didn’t partake.
There are decent restaurants nearby and a convenience store (albeit slightly overpriced imho) but it’s errr convenient so I’m fine with that.
All in all, I got a good stay for a very good price and I was fine with it.
If you are there to explore the city, this is a well priced place to stay. Busses run into the early morning.
For the price I paid, I was more than happy with the hotel to accept it being slightly out of town.
Good value. Good place "
"The room was spotless, staff was professional, friendly, helpful. I did not have the Wi-Fi password so I couldn’t tell you if it was fast and I departed early so I also cannot comment on breakfast. The few things that dropped my rating from five stars to four were minor, and certainly would not stop me from returning. I did not find the showers sufficiently hot. Maneuvering past the bathroom door was a complicated gymnastic feat. The door hits the bidet so it only opens halfway. It’s already a narrow door, so the opening is undersized. The bathroom counter blocks one side, and the door handle protrudes in the other. Awkward and uncomfortable, particularly in the middle of the night. The shower door is equally impossible, and even after the further gymnastics and rock-climbing efforts to get around it so that it can open, then it starts swinging back into the shower under its own weight. There’s only one nightstand, so thou shalt sleep on that side of the bed, regardless of one’s preference. And I really would have appreciated a chair (other than the straight back desk chair) but that may be a matter of economy, as I did not book an upgraded room. Then the hair dryer stopped working mid-style. And there was no price list for the mini bar. See? Little stuff - enough to keep it from all five stars, but not enough for areal complaint. My room was absolutely a good value for the price. I have enjoyed the breakfast on a previous stay and would not hesitate to do so again."
"The location to the train station could not have been better, it's literally across the street! The staff was friendly, breakfast was good and the checkout time was generous. Beds were comfy but the pillows were lumpy and not very comfortable. The room was extremely hot and I was thankful that the windows worked, since the AC they advertised on Expedia did not work, nor did the phones to call reception about it. I believe there might be local laws preventing it, but I stayed in a much cheaper place the night before and didn't experience a lack of AC. Basically you have to choose between the blackout curtains or being a little more comfortable. The lack of AC was the only real issue. Everything else was nice."
"The Staff at the Hoxton were very nice, enjoyed chatting with them, and they answered all questions. They helped arrange a very early taxi pickup - 4 am. The outdoor patio area was one of my favorites. I enjoyed the outdoors while sipping a prosecco or reading on the very comfy furniture. The attached restaurant was very good - a little pricey."
"Hotel focus on big groups not for couples
Terrible bar restaurant music for young generation and loud
It took 30minutes for check in only 1 person in front desk 20 minutes latter another came to help
No city maps or tourism information at front desk "
