La posizione è perfetta, ad un passo da via dell'indipendenza e dunque con negozi e ristoranti a portata di mano. Staff molto giovane e cordiale! Aree comuni spaziose e macchinette per bibite/snack che ogni albergo dovrebbe avere! La mia camera era una singola abbastanza piccola e non climatizzata: a me il solo ventilatore è bastato ma riconosco che per molti potrebbe costituire un problema! Moquette veramente pulita, bagno sinceramente da ristrutturare!

Let's start with the good stuff: the location of the hotel. It is just off the Via d'Independenzia and not too far from the Neptune Fountain, so it is pretty central. Of course, that does mean it is about a 20 minute walk to the railway station. There seems to be a great restaurant in the street, judging by the length of the queues. I found the nearest supermarket to be a ten minute walk. The staff at reception were extremely friendly and helpful; they were able to speak English well. I had a budget single room with no natural light coming into the room, so this made it quite gloomy. The bed was comfortable. For a single room, it was of good size. There was a bedside cabinet, a large wardrobe with safe, a table on which was the television, and an easy chair. The room was carpeted. Of importance, in the summer, there is air-conditioning in the room. The en-suite bathroom was up a step and had a combined bidet and shower. The bathroom had a tiled floor. A big drawback of the hotel is its single small lift - allow plenty of time for your journey! Breakfast was an extra ten euros and I decided not to take that option. There is also a tourist tax in addition to your bill. I think it's adequate for a day, but I wouldn't want to stay longer, although I did, unfortunately!

Das Hotel ist optisch sehr schön und wirkt edel. Zum Zimmer kann ich nicht viel sagen, es hat seinen Zweck erfüllt, einzig das Badezimmer ist für eine Renovierung überfällig. Parkplatz hat ebenfalls einwandfrei funktioniert. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich

It felt like a step back in time, staying in this classic hotel. All it lacked was bellboys or it could have been the 1900s. Loved it. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Location very convenient. Soon, there'll be a good tram connection from the train station so the 30 mns walk will be something from the past.

This place is amazing. Just a 2 minute walk from Neptune's fountain and the Piazza Maggiore. Also, Lara from the front desk is an amazing tutor to learn basic Italian.

Shabby chic. I could feel the springs through the top of the mattress. I had no hot water for the duration of my stay despite mentioning it to reception. 9am breakfast on Sunday seem to catch them by surprise as food ran out and was not replenished. However, the building is a lovely period edifice and the staff charming, if, in the case of the hot water, ineffective. It needs a refurb I wouldn't stay there again until it's had one.
