"Lovely pub and inn at the heart of the village. The room was lovely, very comfortable! At the end of each day I would arrive back at my room to find a homemade cookie waiting for me; it's these little touches that really demonstrate attention to detail and the thoughtfulness of the staff. It's a Dog friendly hotel, and there was a very cute friendly dog who greeted me as I went to check in. Would highly recommend, and will certainly stay again! Useful hotel for those walking or cycling through the Chiltern Hills, located relatively close to the Ridgeway Route. "

"The hotel is very tired and needs updating, however it was clean, comfortable and the staff were lovely. The food was excellent even though it was only myself and my wife who ate in the dinning room whilst we were there. The hotel does takeaway food and there was a steady stream of cars coming in to pick up meals which is a testament to the quality. The position of the hotel was great for our needs. It is outside of Oxford but transport links are very good. We are in the process of looking for property in the area and we would have no worries about staying there again whilst we are looking, and will go back there to eat once we have found a place to move to."

"Lovely stay at a genuine village pub, not a restaurant with rooms or a hotel with a bar, this is the real thing. Beautifully furnished rooms, amazing staff and service and fantastic atmosphere, and Blewbury is beautiful. The Ukrainian menu has to be tried! We loved also that the dog was as welcome as we were."
