Great farm setting, quiet & peaceful little village style accommodation. It is very convenient location.
We are visiting from Australia and this place is absolutely awesome! Amazing location yet within walking distance to pubs / restaurants and town centre. Incredibly quiet being in a country setting and lots of opportunities for walks by the river. The staff were welcoming and friendly and we were able to have breakfast outside in the lovely garden. We felt well looked after. Highly recommend!
Lovely B&B. Nice and quite. Rooms clean and comfortable. Self check in. Nice breakfast area and guests are able to use the kitchen facilities during the day. Would stay again.
It was perfect for what I needed on that occasion. Easy to find and park, simple to check in. Room had everything I needed. All staff encountered were very pleasant and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Excellent stay for Abingdon and Oxford
Comfortable room which opened up to a patio and well kept colourful garden. Staff helpful and friendly. Weather was sunny so we were able to have breakfast in the garden. Breakfast was excellent. Easy walking to Abingdon and buses every ten minutes to Oxford.
From the moment we arrived it was absolute bliss.. easy check in, warm & welcoming room.. clean & comfortable beds! Beautiful hot power shower, Millie catered our continental breakfast, fresh baked croissants, pan au chocolate, gluten free & dairy free options, local honey & delicious coffee of the month 😊 A rural, tranquil, magical beautiful B&B .. we will definitely be back to stay 💖

Cute, warm and exceptionally clean room with a cozy warm bathroom. A nice comfy bed and lovely morning breakfast of fresh fruit, cereals, and breads. Whilst visiting our son in town, we touch a chance and booked one night at Kingfisher Barn and it won’t be our last!
Usually use Prem Inn but prices are getting ridicules, found Kingfisher Bard, first class, reasonable price and breakfast included not like Prem Inn, £9.50 extra for continental brekkie.
Definitely use again.
I was met by Millie who gave me a briefing of the place. She's a very nice person who also had a great dog who was lovely.
Location of the barn is secluded and very private. The rooms are well equipped and decorated to a high standard.
Just on the outskirts of a small village which was handy for supplies.
Definitely staying again.
I absolutely loved staying here and the location was beautiful! Check in was super easy and fuss free. My room was very clean and cosy. Loved that they had oat milk sachets on the tea tray along with normal milk. I would definitely stay here again!
Only con is that the road leading to the property has no street lights so I wouldn't recommend going out when it's dark, even though it's only an 8 min walk into town

One night stay in Abingdon UK
Room was adequate without being palatial - TV was far too small for the size of the room - no racks for suitcases - TV remote didn’t work properly - Hot tap in bathroom needs a new washer - continuously leaked and obviously needed replacing for some time - could not get towel warmer to work - Property was well presented otherwise and quite comfortable - very quiet location
Included breakfast was good and certainly accounted for our needs - included parking always a bonus in UK - a little work would make this venue a first class stay - quite close to town -

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Self-check-in without issues.
The shower in my bathroom was broken, I was moved to a different room with a functional shower in the bathroom.
Room and bathroom clean.
The room heating was intermittent, at times a bit chilly in the evening.
The breakfast was fine, but rather spartan. None of the breakfast items stereotypical for the UK: no baked beans, no sausage. Also no cheese, no bacon, no salami, no tomatoes, no cucumber.
Friendly and helpful staff though.

Will be great if you get good neighbours!
We chose Kingfisher Barn because we were visiting our daughter in Oxford and wanted somewhere quiet and peaceful, away from the city. It's in a lovely situation with beautiful gardens. Unfortunately, the couple in the next room completely ruined the experience for us, crashing back into their room in the early hours obviously very much the worse for wear and one of them being continually "ill" as a result in the bathroom for most of the night. Obviously, this is no fault whatsoever of the B&B but I have to say that the walls between the rooms are very poor at blocking out noise and it was (unfortunately) like we were in their bathroom with him. The room itself was comfortable and very clean although the shower could definitely do with a re-grout, being somewhat black in places and the main door handle is about to fall off. Breakfast was very good with vegan options and the one member of staff we met was very friendly. We were obviously very unlucky but the lack of soundproofing between the rooms is an issue and we won't be back. We overheard a conversation from another guest on the other side of these people and it seems they too had an awful night.
