「Room 1 good if you like a cool room.」

「The room is in need of refurbishment, curtains not hanging from rail properly, fan heater looks in poor condition, room rather stark being all in white, not welcoming when coming in from the cold and took time to warm up. Poor value for money.」

「Excellent room with very good mattress, very good shower, and very good heating. Had nice seating outside for the warmer weather. We had a bad experience with one of the waiters in the restaurant where it took 25 minutes to get our order taken after sitting down and 55 minutes before finally getting the food. Being a small village there was not really an option to go elsewhere. We normally stay in Henley where there are lots of good restaurants 」

「The breakfast was wonderful - but the room was not great - it was right next to an alley where people were drinking/smoking into the night; so pretty noisy (no double-glazing). There was no shampoo and the mirror light kept going on and off! The hotel is undergoing renovations which might be the problem. Wouldn’t recommend for now, despite much appreciating the breakfast. 」

Located a bit away from the city centre, the hotel's deco, ambience and service were comparable to a 5-star hotel. We were particularly impressed by the service of Ali, proactive, considerate and detailed to meet our needs, even the unspoken. We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel and found them enjoyable. 」
