「Please note that this review is for the Hotel Solar do Bom Jesus in Santa Cruz - I was asked to move to this hotel when Hotel Amparo requested that I move to their sister hotel due to short-notice issues with the hotel. This was fine for me and it was handled very well by both hotels.」

「Spent 3 nights, good location only 11 mins from airport, in front of the Riu hotel. 3 bedrooms, one huge living room, fully equipped kitchen, terrace overlooking the sea and Riu. Small handy supermarket downstairs, parking in the building's garage but better have smaller than bigger car, it's a bit tight. Beach about 10 mins walking, I still swam in early March. 「We had an awesome room with ocean view and were treated to champagne and a romantic set up as a welcome gift for our honeymoon. The Oceanside pool and spa was beautiful. The breakfast and dinner buffet had great variety and price was reasonable. Staff were friendly and accommodating.」
