「Fantastic little hotel that provides country style in a lovely part of the city. The breakfast is great & the parking is very convenient.」

「During our stay (6 days) in Birmingham, the weather was freezing, around 0 degree and minor in evening time. However, the heating system of the Hotel was down for 4 days. When we reported to the reception, they had promised to follow but in vain. Then, different reception staff told us different reasons why their heating system was down. It is quite unacceptable. Fortunately, in the last 2 days, one of the night staff provided a portable heater to us. No apology was received from the hotel so...

「Perfect location! Quaint spot just outside of the city centre close to UoB. Sam and reception staff incredibly friendly. We could have chatted for hours if we didn't have an itinerary of things we needed to complete before the end of the day! Would definitely recommend a stay here.」

「Struggled to find it at first but it was a lovely room, enjoyed being able to use the TV. Had 2 fans which was needed. When arrived back at the hotel late at night there was no room in the car park but a member of staff moved their car for us to be able to park. Only downside which staff cannot control it is very loud, right next to pubs. Banging all night and fire alarm randomly went off at 1am which gave us a bit of a fright.」

「No wifi at all event though 4 box’s were listed, horribly overpriced £90/night - bathroom had mold around the window/ceiling, shower head didn’t fit the holder so had to hold it to be able to use the shower. Restaurant and bar not open in the evenings, and hardly any staff around bar one guy. Only up side was there was parking outside the property. Dead wasps on the the floor of the hall way. Curtains had holes in them. 1/3 light bulbs in the bathroom, list could go on but I just advise never...

「Room was spacious but basic & could do with a good dust. Kitchen was very basic and i would not have wanted to do more than make a cup of tea in it. 」

「Bathroom light in studio room 9 was faulty, but otherwise good room decent space and accessible amenities. The tenant at room 1 was very helpful and may as well be staff」

「I have book twin beds rooms for 5 nights but finally they can only offer me double bed rooms. After very long arguing with the front desk staff. They finally can offer me one twin beds room with TV. I am so mad about it」

「Convenient location and very clean inside (a bit shabby exterior). Strange accommodation set up and room layout let this place down - single bathroom only accessible through the tiny kitchen, no kitchen worksurfaces, no forks?! Communication / check-in very good and friendly.」

「Booking is made on Expedia, but the you complete the registration on another site. Shower is built into a very small closet. Toilet is on the other side - in another closet. You have to straddle the toilet to use a hand basin that barely fits my hands and it's not possible to wash your face in it without splashing water all over the floor. Entrance way through to the room is in shockingly poor condition. Not the welcome one would hope to see. I would not recommend this room.」
