Independent Puerto del Carmen hotels

"We loved these apartments, love the attention to detail, comfort and eco friendly policies and care. We have been coming to Lanzarote a few years and usually stay in a nearby complex. We had to extend our two week trip for medical reasons and there was no availability where we were already staying. We had 5 nights in a 2 bed apartment, it was so much more comfortable than where we usually stay. Bed comfy, good sleep, sofa comfy, kitchen so much better equipped, even has a blender! There is so much attention to detail, eco friendly toiletries, paper and policies. Recycling, water bottle and filtered water was so good compared to us dragging large bottles of plastic around for the previous two weeks. Loved the insect nets at all doors and windows, no bugs or flying insects. We did have a few mini ants in the kitchen which were attracted to food. Once we kept all the food in the fridge and not cupboards they went away, I mentioned this on leaving but it didn’t really bother us during the trip. The What’s app service was brilliant, I really felt like the customer service was the best I have ever experienced in Lanzarote, texts to check if we were ok, texts half way through the stay, weather updates, menus, prompt responses, paella cooking demonstrations.. The pool is lovely , just the right temperature, cool for swimming but not icy cold. Jacuzzi nice. It’s a small complex so you are in close proximity to neighbours but we weren’t disturbed. Can location. We will be back!"

"The hotel is really nice and is disabled friendly. There is step free access into the pool as well. The hotel is situated right on the beach with bars and restaurants a 5 minute walk if that away. Would definitely stay here again"
