"The staff was great, the room a nice and updated. The breakfast situation is a little odd. You pay separately for it, then you get a voucher to use that you give at the end. Its very small and self serve, but then you "pay" a staff member at the end, that you have a tip option for. They do get you your drinks, but honestly... its all right there and you can get it yourself. That was the only odd thing, and its not convenience if you on the go, you have to sit down and they take your drink order, then you have to wait to pay."

"We were swimming in the pool, then a group of 18 local people were let in by a staff member. They were dressed in street clothes, brought towels from home, and since the group was so large we were pushed out of the pool. Very disheartening for paying $500+ for the weekend and unable to utilize the pool because a staff member let their family and friends in. They also do not provide daily housekeeping (clean towels, beds made, etc) during a 3 day stay. There are also a TON of homeless people around the property so ensure your vehicles are locked at night, otherwise they will absolutely be rummaged through. "

"If you are going to Alaska and flying out to other areas, this is the place to stay. Although the place is a little old, it is kept in good shape and the staff is more than helpful and very friendly."
