"Fabulous hotel in a prime location of beautiful historic Savannah. The staff where super friendly and accommodating. The hotel has a nice bar/ restaurant which office excellent views."

"Run down! Ice machine broken, pool broken, door to bathroom badly stuck, very soiled carpets, dark parking lot with crumbling asphalt, pillows like teabags! I stay frequently in Hampton Inn because the are dependably clean, refreshed, safe, etc. This one breaks the mold and makes my cynical of future stays at Hampton Inns. Plus, they charged me $236 for a guaranteed $153 reservation. Now I have to take time to unravel that. PS I aaked for statement at checkout and was told it was not available and I should ask Travelocity! I smell a rat."

"Bad start. Half bottle of Tito's vodka was waiting for us in the room. I'm guessing the housekeeping staff thought the previous guests were returning, not checking out. Tito's is not bad vodka, so I might have thought the same. However, the desk clerk offered us a room of same value and we were good to go. The room without vodka was alright except for the small wad of TP stuck to the wall up high. Housekeeping staff might want to look up when cleaning the bathroom If this is the least expensive hotel in the area I would not hesitate to book it again. It's quiet, mattress firm, and the biscuits at breakfast were remarkably lighter than others I have experienced. If it's not, you might want to consider one of the half dozen other hotels within a mile of it."
