the room was mostly clean, the shower did not work at all, and there were a few roaches that were in the room. despite that, the bed was incredibly comfortable and i slept like a baby. check in was confusing as they made me check in at a market?? but it wasnt that awful

No towels. Manager tried to rectify this but was unable. No hot water. Not enough light to read by except standing directly under the kitchenette ceiling light. I left after what was to be the first of a three night stay. I believe management will approve a refund for the missing two nights.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

The hotel is terrible we had issues with our room keys told the office and they said they closed at 9 so if your keys don’t work just keep trying”they’re old”. Ended up not getting in Friday night so had to find a room else where with all our stuff locked in their room. Got back there sat and complained and they said they would come check the door, it took them an hour to get to us and they found an issue with their door but refused to give us any refund even though we had to get a last minute room at a different hotel. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Broken AC

They had no one at office after a certain time, they did out our room key into a lock box with a combination code. Had trouble with door to get into room. Once we finally got in room was clean. No was wash rags (which was fine I bring my own) but the biggest issue I had was the AC did Not Work. We had to open the window (thank goodness it was a cool night instead of hot) and since one was in the office I couldn't even get someone to come fix our AC. In the morning when leaving still no one in office so I can speak to about it. Smh. Overall not somewhere we would stay again.

Good for low budget requirement

The location of this property is just across from the port. Very bad smell in the area along with noise. Multiple trains at night. Our room smelled of smoke and permeated all our luggage and clothes. There is nothing that you can safely walk to from this location but Savannah is a short drive. The property is in disrepair but under new ownership. I spoke with the owner and he intends to do repairs. (Open outlets, wifi unable to connect, leaking toilet...) There are multiple cameras and a well lit parking lot for safety. Front desk, cleaning staff and owner were all polite. Price is very competitive.
