"Let me start with the positives, the only thing accurate about the advertisement of the facility is the description of the 4 pools and the amazing view. Yes a picture is worth a thousand s words. The shuttle does run continuously as stated 7am - 10pm. There are a few amazing staff member that go well above and beyond. Maria and Gaston pool and restaurant bar tenders great, Jean who runs the romantic dinner and works dinning amazing, Olman towel station /shuttle driver great. Not so positive, common problem every guest shared was the false advertisement of the 2 restaurants and the 25+ pictures of the food. A restaurant is a place where you sit down, read a menu and place your order, or order from a counter. Dorito is a breakfast lunch and dinner buffet with 90% of the food the same every day lunch & dinner. 2nd common complaint, it list 4 bars - only 1 is open 10am-6pm, and the other 6pm -everyday they run out of alcohol and the drinks are massively watered down. As a 74yr old guest said she got more of a buzz off a cup of Pepsi They do not even have wine. There is a liquor stirred in walking distance, in which, most guest bought their own. 3rd common problem, the facility is sold out but only have 14 chaise longe chairs and 8 are broken. Guest are told to go to the beach or sit on a wooden dinning chair at the pool. So not only is it byob it’s also byoc. Which now brings us to the beach, only a few chairs but you have to get up at 7am to get a chair there or by the pool. "

"Rooms are very cosy, but need some improvements, such our safe was not working and no one fix it even we reported, toilet pump some time was not functional and required manual adjustment. Also the people next door was party after midnight on outdoor teracce which was next to our room so we couldn't sleep as the insulation is poor."

"Close to the beach! Good breakfast. Andre did an excellent job of getting a good taxi ride for us to the airport for 4AM. Staff had great excursion knowledge only downside was they don’t take credit card for excursions-bring USA cash for those."

"Great location, blocks from beach and good restaurants. Very reasonable price. Villa wsd 2 BR/2 BA which was a nice change, small but kitchen had all the tools. No living area to sit inside, but patio with comfy chairs just outside to enjoy early morning or late night air. March is hot at the beach but it cools off nicely at night."

"Very attentive and friendly staff. Sunset view was beautiful. Having a regular shuttle to the beach and restaurant on site was a great asset for this stay. The only thing I missed was an all inclusive breakfast that we had at all of our other stays in Costa Rica. "

"There is no wait staff at any of the resort except in the restaurants. In bars and at pools you have to go to the bar yourself. There is very limited shade at the pools. Only loungers and no sitting tables. Seats in the shade get towels on them as early as 6am. The food is limited in selection although the wings, burgers and fries from the grill at lunch were great. 3 out of 4 of us got diarrhea and puking at some point over the 2 weeks there. 2 got very sick for a few days. Not alcohol related."

"The pool was enjoyable. However, I did have a little issue w any food that I left in the room for later, was always removed and discarded. After being in the pool all day, you would want a little snack when u return to the room until dinner. The food that I had in the fridge was also discarded."
