"Extremely expensive for what you get. 1st come 1st serve for shuttle and hard to access the city by walk (uphill). Allowing guests to smoke in the pool. Hotel and amenities falling apart (not well kept or maintained). Drinks majorly diluted. Had curdle milk in my coffee, was told by staff that was normal and we're adamant on not changing it. Completely dismissed for 375$ a night we we're expecting alot more. I would rate this hotel a 2-3 star max. "

"Wow the villa at Selvatico was amazing! Beauty place to stay, plunge pool was epic, and the whole experience was very comfortable, just far enough out of the main drag to be quiet in the evenings, but close enough that the short walk was nothing to fret! Beach access was so close and quieter at this end of the beach, 10/10 no contest! "

"We had a superior oceanview room. The view of the water, resort and sunset were spectacular! The food was exceptional, staff very friendly & accomodating. Spa/massage was great! Classes were amazing. Location perfect! In the heart of tamarindo, right across from beach, restaurants, shops, surfing. But Very safe and quiet! Costa Rica, Tamarindo and this resort exceeded our expectations! "

From the correspondance before our arrival to book add-on activities, to the arrival experience, to the daily check-ins and check-out, we experienced the best customer service. Nicole was fantastic in ensuring everything was good with our stay. The rocky beach was fun for the kids to experience the tidal pools. And a short golf cart trip away took us to town and the sandy beaches of Tamarindo. We had a lovely time here. "
