「There is so much potential here. Unfortunately it is very sad as the resort is in disarray needing a lot of TLC. We did enjoy our stay here but the cleanliness of the room and condition of the resort was very disappointing. The resort has been there a long time and we met couples who have been coming back for anniversaries for 20 or 30 years. Overall, we had a great time but we feel like this resort is on its last legs.」

「About an hour or so before our arrival we were messaged via the expedia app stating the jacuzzi in the jacuzzi room we booked had broke and they were moving us to a non-jacuzzi room in the main house. We weren't given the option to cancel or even asked if it was suitable to be switched. The whole reason we booked was for the jacuzzi tub. The property is self-check in. When we arrived on property, there was a weird stack of bibles at the front desk, with one opened to a passage and a small figure...

「Look, you get what you pay for... this place was not worth quite that. The room was OK (e.g., bed and chairs) but that was about it. The TV had 4 channels (only) that pixelated/froze every few seconds, The plumbing needs a lot of work, The room does not have "heating controls" - but rather just a knob that turns the (loud) heater on or off... The walls are thin enough that I could hear conversations from 2-3 rooms away... My overall review... Ouch.」
