「While the cottage was in a lovely location and it was great seeing the old trains going past occasionally, we were actually a little disappointed with it otherwise. The cottage was quite grubby in places, especially the kitchen extractor fan which had dirt and grease dripping from it. There was also a lot of cobwebs scattered about. You're provided with strict instructions on how to separate waste (otherwise they'll charge you a fee) and say anything going in the general waste bin must be in a...

「Staff were outstanding, so polite and helpful. We had the early bird evening meal, which was beautiful and very reasonable in price. We stayed in a woodland escape cabin with a hot tub. It was clean and well dressed. Hot tub was preheated with fresh water. Will 100% be staying again.」

「It is an old Hotel but it is well maintained The staff are young and on top of their job and very polite and helpful The restaurant is well decorated and comfortable as is the bar and lounge The food is very well prepared and tasty Our room was well looked after by the staff as we were there for 3 nights All in All no complaints at all」

「The hotel looks great from the outside, but inside it has a stale smell. Our room」

「Both the town, restaurant, and stay were amazing! Very friendly people!」

「Very hospitable staff. Delicious food. Very comfortable room; good value for money and perfect for a short break. I would definitely come back.」

「The room is clean and comfortable, but the WiFi signal is very weak, and usually disconnected... The hotel is very near to Harlech Castle, just 3 minute walking distance, but it also means that the hotel situates on the hill as well... So it is better call hotel come to rail station to pick you up.... Dinner and breakfast are delicious~~ 」

「It was perfect for our stay. Firstly, it was only 5 minutes walk from Harlech Railway station, which was great as we came by train (the ride in along the coast is gorgeous by the way). It is also very convenient for the amazing beach, the wonderful castle & the bustling little town & shops. Our room was clean, quiet & a good size, with a lovely view of the castle. I had the best sleep I've had for a while. The staff were helpful & friendly & gave us good tips about the local area. Also, just...

「Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Ideally located within 5 minutes walk of the village centre, and with brilliant walks straight from the door.」

「A warm welcome from our host, who was ready to share his local knowledge. We would stay again.」

「We did not really know what to expect as only seen on website but what we got was fabulous. Very well thought out , modern and spacious even though small space everything well thought out and great location to nearby restaurants . Would definitely recommend.」

「The views are excellent- Staff very welcoming and friendly. Rooms very comfortable but warning of some sloping ceilings! Amenities very good - good value for money. Breakfast very good. Good choice menu in the evening but disappointed that apple and blackberry pie not available for 4 nights of our stay! Dog friendly - which is great for dog owners but personally - I wasnt so happy re a couple with 2 big dogs being allowed into the dining room in the evening.」
