Michelle was excellent and made our trip to Wales feel cosy, it felt like staying at a home more than a hotel. The building was lovely and clean, highly recommend, nothing was too much of an ask and I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Poor beautiful Howse in an absolutely idyllic location if you’re looking for complete tranquil nothing but the sound of birds and sheep Michelle and her partner have been working on this place as a project over the last two years and seemingly you’ve done fantastic to get it to where it is today. The room was really comfortable. Shower was fine great hospitality for Michelle and a lovely dinner. We definitely go again.

The hotel is quaint and very friendly. It is especially dog friendly which many guests appreciated. Our room was large and comfortable with its own bathroom. Michelle our host was extremely friendly and accommodating. I had lamb shanks for dinner which was a huge serving and very delicious. My husband had the muscles and was left with enough room to finish my large serving. A walk through the lovely gardens ended our evening perfectly. The road up is narrow and not for the faint of heart.

A beautiful and old property away from bustling centres,ideal for our short break. Michelle our host could not do enough to make sure we enjoyed our break. Home cooked and tasty food,a roaring fire in the bar area and an atmosphere of calm.

The actual hotel was lovely particularly if you are looking for a certain vibe. It was a well renovated country house that was a delight to stay at. The main issue is that the location is not near anything and feels a bit remote. The grounds could use a little attention as well, but this is of lesser importance. The family who operate the hotel are invested and are a delight
