「Had to help ourselves to the housekeeper’s cart because we were only provided one bath towel (two if you count the used one hanging on the shower) for four people…needed a fresh bar of soap since we didn’t want to use the one left over from the previous guests. The toilet ran all night. It’s fine if you’re in a pinch to find a room.」

「It is a good hotel and I would consider staying there again. I have two complaints; the first is that the TV never really worked properly while we were there. It kept losing the signal. The second issue is that the housekeeper would blast his (bad) music while he was working. It was so loud that you could hear it down the hallway even with the room door closed. That definitely was not very relaxing.」

「Unfortunately we didn’t get the room we booked—-booked the king and “double sofa bed”. Got a room with just a sofa-didn’t pull out like the description and photos. Uncomfortable sleep for 4 people. We got in late and wanted to eat-but they told us the portions were small and suggested we find something else. Buffalo Wild Wings and Raising Kane’s were a few blocks away-so we did that which it was a fine night for walking. Parking is $15/night - I didn’t see that before booking, only in an email...

「If you’re looking for a place with good rooms, a convenient location to the downtown area and professional and courteous staff. Then I recommend this place 10 out of 10. Also one of the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. Can’t forget to shout out to our receptionist Rory. She was a great help during this stay.」

「The hotel was recently built (less than 5 years) and things are pretty new. It’s about 10 minutes driving distance from downtown Iowa City. There are shopping mall and tons of restaurants near the hotel. Staff are very friendly.」
